My journey to medicine was unconventional: I originally studied computer science and thought I would work forsoftware companies. But, after volunteering at a children's hospital, I realized nothing brought me as much joy as working directly with kids. Today, I combine that passion with rigorous training to provide care that is both evidence-based and genuinely comforting.
Advancing Pediatric Care
My work at the University of Chicago extends beyond the exam room. I am deeply invested in the future of medicine, serving as a clinical educator for medical students. I have a passion for improving patient care through quality improvement initiatives and utilizing technology to enhance patient care through innovative solutions.
When the Stethoscope Comes Off
Connecting with kids is easier when you're a bit of a big kid yourself. Outside the clinic, I enjoy collecting Pokémon cards, rooting for my hometown Detroit Lions, or playing games on my Nintendo Switch. Around Chicago, you'll likely find me trying to stay active in the gym or on a mission to track down the city's best spicy tuna roll.
